CommentThe young boys (19-22 maybe) that delivered it did not set it up as they were supposed to, and did not leave me a copy of the invoice i had signed. i was later told by customer service that i didn't get a copy.
my sister-in-law and i proceeded to set up and plug in the couch and loveseat, the recliner won't come for another week and half since they ran out material and couldn't make it. (which we found out 2 days before delivery)
After plugging and unplugging all the connections underneath, we finally got one side of the couch to recline. NOTHING ELSE WORKS!!
So, i call customer service, they can't get anyone out to look at it for another week, and refuse to exchange it until the tech comes out to look at it.
After looking over the "Quality job" that was done on the contstruction aspect of it, we decided to return it for a refund. I mean, the bottom of the couch back has a peice of chipboard set between the two side board and it is held together with cardboard and staples.
Now they tell me, they can't get anyone to pick it up until the 7th of October! Another week and a half! Then it will take 21 days to process my refund check!
I paid just over $3500 for this furniture and am very disappointed and disillousined. I will never, ever shop at rooms to go nor will i recommend them to anyone i know. Talk about BS! What ever happened to the customer is always right and good customer service meant bending over backwords to make them happy.
If this is the next generations way of doing business, then we baby boomers need stand up and teach them a thing or two!
