I spent over $3,000 to get new furniture from this place. Delivery was not ‘next day’ as they advertised.

It took over 2 ½ weeks to schedule a delivery date!!!! Then when the delivery guys come, they were pathetic. I have a brand new home that I lived in less than one week and they make the first damage and they didn’t act like they cared. They carried my dresser into my bedroom and hit the stair railing, making a chip.

They were deep in conversation, laughing and they went and when it happened, they both stopped, looked at it and just kept walking. They didn’t care!!!! Then the coffee table I got apparently couldn’t get put together because the ‘hardware was missing’ so I was told that someone would ‘call me in about 15-20 minutes to schedule a time to come back with hardware.” WHAT??!!! I was having a housewarming party with over 30 people in a few hours and now my furniture didn’t match and they left this HUGE box with the table in my living room!!

Did someone call in that timeframe? Nope. I finally was able to get it ‘rescheduled’ after calling the store on Sunday (which the store manager didn’t care and told me to call corporate) and couldn’t reach them until Monday. The delivery guys even left a mess.

They left big chunks of cardboard and Styrofoam on my grass, my neighbors grass and my front porch so guess who had to pick up after them?! Now someone who can assemble the table is coming back on the following Saturday (7 days later) because they offered to have them come out weekdays between 11-2pm so they expect me to take time off of work due to THEIR error, not mine so I have to wait an extra week for this to be put together.

All I know is that I am calling corporate again and I expect some, if not all, of my delivery fee to be reimbursed after this fiasco. If not, I will file a complaint with the BBB on Rooms to Go!

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Monetary Loss: $600.
