I wish I could be more delicate but I am absolutely ticked off, disgusted, disappointed and committed to not buying anything here ever again. We bought a couch and recliner there years ago and the quality and price were good.

Still using the couch. More recently bought a love seat and dresser / chest for the bedroom. Added a warranty after everything was delivered for the love seat. It was supposed to include cushion restuffing as needed for 3 years.

My first issue is that the quality is not on par with the older stuff, so I call to get the lumbar cushion restuffed (hopefully with something firmer) and the run around begins. I have been ping ponged between the store personnel, customer service and the warranty company literally FOR MONTHS!! I've never seen so much effort to deliver such absolutely horrible customer service in my life... and I've experienced some pretty bad customer service.

It is obvious they have absolutely no interest in retaining customers, I mean look at the percentage of dismal reviews out there! They could have responded positively, sent out the guy to do the fix and all would have been good, I would have overlooked the less than stellar quality of the furniture that is not going to be worth keeping once I get done with the payments. But no, they had to give me a world class runaround which culminated in them sending the warranty repair guy out to "fix" the furniture only to find out when he got there that he was going to take pictures to give them more ammunition to deny my claim! They stated that since the frame hasn't failed they were off the hook.

I am still within warranty and it was supposed to cover cushions as well as actual failure of the frame etc. They finally, reluctantly agreed after some more ping ponging and screaming to send him out to fix it. He was supposed to come this week (this all started back in May) between 9a and 1p and call an hour before arrival. So I stayed home from work and had no call or anything by 1230 at which point I called to reschedule, he is only in my area one day every other week so here goes another two weeks waiting for this to be resolved.

I've seen this happen to big, successful companies before, anybody remember Circuit City? They crashed and burned when they started forgetting who you were once the sale was over.

I will not be drawn in by the financing anymore, I'll simply save up and get better stuff somewhere else, use the AMEX if I'm cash strapped or just sit on an old chicken crate if I have to but there will be no more furniture from Rooms To Go purchased by me. It's simply not worth it.

Reason of review: Bad quality, atrocious customer service.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Fix it and refund prorated warranty cost.

Rooms To Go Pros: Good when purchased.

Rooms To Go Cons: Tells untrue facts.

We also had a very poor buying experience with "Rooms to Go" and would never make a purchase with them again for any reason! We experienced poor customer service (bad attitude), damaged goods and an unreasonable wait time for our refund Their focus is on advertising, not customer service...
