Rooms to Go ... Terrible Customer Service, Worse Products

Rooms to go is absolutely worst place I have ever purchased furniture. Ordered 11 items and 8 of them were delivered damaged, scratched or missing pieces.Of the 3 pieces that were in good condition 2 of them were small table lamps and 1 was a recliner. Corporate customer service called to replace items and did not get any information correct so I had to go through the store manager who was not much more helpful. BEWARE when they say some customer assembly required it actually means they will come and dump a bunch of boxes on your floor for you to assemble. As we tried to assemble this absolutely huge entertainment center we found additional scratched pieces. When they returned with new furniture 5 of those pieces were also damaged. They still refused to put the entertainment center together even though I had been assured by customer service and the salesman that they would do so. One of the delivery drivers disclosed that most of their deliveries that day were to return or replace damaged merchandise. He obviously didn't want to be their and was rude and tried to rush through the delivery. He was told by the other driver to try and adjust a table I already had put together that was uneven, he proceeded to put a crack in the table leg and tried to hide it so that I would keep the merchandise. After they left I decided to try to put together the smallest part of the entertainment center because my TV had been on the floor for 2 weeks. I couldn't believe my eyes...when I moved the top box the 2 underneath had been cut open and re-taped as if they had also been returned! Who in their right mind would give a customer complaining of damaged merchandise an opened obviously returned item??? I then called and spoke with the salesman, who was the only good person I encountered in this entire dilemma, he assured me that the manager would call me regarding my complaints, he never called. I finally told them to come and get all their merchandise.

I purchased a Sterns & Foster mattress from Sears in Sept 2009. Since then it has been warranty replaced 5 times due to sagging & coils breaking. One time they brought out a mattress with a stain on it, YES a stain!! They offered me a discount but I knew that the warranty would be void with a stain so I refused it. Another time they brought the wrong mattress out!

I'm in the process of yet another replacement due to the coils failing. I've been told to go pick out another mattress and if it's more I'll have to pay the difference, but if it's less I don't get a refund. Kinda like buying a sports car and ending up with a pinto.

I paid 1179.99 for this mattress, but the last replacement they adjusted the price due to a price increase. So they are only giving me a credit of $1104.99. Add insult to injury, each replacement they charge 69.99 delivery, why should I incure a cost when they are selling *** quality products!

I am VERY dissatisfied with Sears!

giving these guys a bad review is pointless because im sure everyone knows how terrible they are by now but this is fun to me,purchased furniture on july/18/15. Delivery Date 7/28/15 at 8:41am. Now i will say this was my first time buying furniture ever,for my first apartment and i guess i shouldve checked to see if everything was there before i signed for it,which i didnt in this case. signed for it at around 9:39am. My boyfriend and i realize the legs to the part of the sectional/sofa that extends out are not there so we called the same number that had called us mins before they showed up to our door at 9:23am NO RESPONSE again at 9:25am NO RESPONSE,call the main customer service number,lady says she'll contact the guys on the delivery truck and they'll come back within 1 to 2 hours. 12:41 PM 7/28/15 DELIVERY TRUCK HAS NOT COME BACK. Call customer service AGAIN and they now say legs will get delivered to us. 7/31/15 Ups delivers package from rooms to go containing 2...might i say again...2 legs,1 sofa leg (NOT NEEDED,DIDNT ASK FOR) and 1 sectional leg (NEEDED 4 TOTAL) debated over the wekeend returning sofa i got. Call customer service monday willing to give yet another chance 8/3/15 around 12:00pm,boyfriend that called was on hold for 10 MINS,lady finally answered,asked for name then HUNG UP. Called AGAIN same day,was told that they would try to get us next day delivery,or at latest the legs would get here wed 8/5/15 by Ups. 7:37pm on 8/5/15 UPS HAS NOT ARRIVED WITH PACKAGE FROM ROOMS TO GO. Call customer service AGAIN to track my package that was a "supposed next day delivery" i get informed that the legs WILL NOW BE DELIVERED THUR OR FRI AT LATEST, I'm sorry,didnt you just say legs would get delivered Wed at latest?! so after contacting rooms to go 7 times over a period of 9 days...well i guess i can enjoy sitting on the right side of my sectional BECAUSE I STILL DONT HAVE WHAT I NEED. thank you rooms to go (excuse my language) for the *** service ever. def wont be shopping with you guys ever again:) p.s if i dont get what i need by friday im sure the least you could do is give me back 100% of what i paid for if i decide to return instead of the usual alloted 80% but of course i guess you guys have to make money somehow;) so yall keep that 20% pathetic rooms to go.

Bought a King Size bed. Delivered damaged bed. Re-delivery of "New clean" bed was today between 1-5. 5:05 no delivery no call. Called and was told hour of so late. 1 1/2 hours later knock on the door. "With all of the deliveries today we damaged your bed. Costumer service will call you." That is what we were told first time and they never called. Called "costumer service" at 6:35 p.m. Spoke to DIANE. She told me she would be right back. SHE HUNG UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CALLED local store where purchased, Regency Jacksonville Florida, after calling our salesperson numerous times. Talked to Manager Charles Dennis. SAYS he will take care of it tomorrow because COSTUMER SERVICE IS CLOSED! Horrible! Horrible service, delivery, costumer service!!!!!

how can I put this in a nicer wording, we have bought a sofa bed set and let me tell you it wasn't cheap... We figure will need one when when extra family and friends stay over. This product was only been use at least ten times seen 2011. They *** metal leg snapped!!!! I been told by the customer service that it's one year warranty has expired. The best part was when a manager tells to to find your local repair company to fix it!!! They used such a cheap material. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that you will need a heavy duty metal materials for bed frame.... a 14 year old can figured that out. We have a heavier metal material on our lounge chairs than they used for metal frame bed. The sad part is we spent a lot of money @ Room to go and will NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!! SAM's CLUB HAVE BETTER PRODUCT THAN YOU. Your customer service rating VERY POOR as well as your MANAGER ETIQUETTE ..... Customer care should be a priority not washing your hands and passing the buck..
