It didn't come with what we were told it came with had to go pay 400+ more dollars and still won't get the consoles that the rom package comes with this month??? But was told the TV is bigger?? The reason you were put on hold was because they have other customers that called before you did. Three year old's think that they are the center of attention and that everyone should drop everything and help them.

Rooms To Go in Manassas, Virginia - Bad customer service

About 4 years ago, purchased a bunk bed for my daughter's room. The delivery guys put it all together, no problem. A few months later I noticed that when they screwed the bed together, one of the screws went in crooked and cracked part of the wood. Not a big deal, its not visible when a mattress is on the bed and is not structural. Lesson learned that I should inspect every inch of furniture before they leave. Fast forward to about a year ago. The bunk bed is solid, no issues with workmanship, so I go back to Rooms to go for living room furniture. I purchase a set which includes a sectional, a coffee table, a side table and a lamp. It also comes with a promotional 60 inch flat screen TV, so I decide to purchase a TV stand as well. Same issues with delivery....we set up a date and I'm supposed to get confirmation of the window 2-3 days before the delivery date. No call, so I had to call them. Also, I missed an entire day of work due to the stated delivery window, however they were several hours late. Ok, not so bad......well the furniture is brought into my home and of course I learned my lesson the first time and start inspecting everything. This is when I notice that 5 out of the 8 pieces of the leather sectional have gouges and scratches on the surface of the leather. One piece I actually saw them scrape across the brick siding on my porch as they brought it in. Also the lamp shade is crushed and dirty. I immediately call customer service and detail the damage. This is $4500 worth of furniture and I refuse to let it stay. They took it back to the truck and I had to wait another 2 wks to get the rest of my furniture. Also after they left I took a flashlight to closely inspect the tables. The side table had a scratch and the TV stand had a spot where it looked like the stain was accidentally wiped off before it even dried. I called customer service back and scheduled a tech to come fix the furniture. After that I noticed that one of them had knocked over a scentsy wax warmer and spilled melted wax all down my newly painted wall, and they didnt even say anything about it. I did not experience any rudeness, but was very disappointed with the careless way that the furniture is handled by the delivery guys. They just force all these pieces into and out of the truck, sliding wood against metal or leather etc, marking and scratching all the surrounding pieces. When the 2nd delivery of the sectional pieces arrived, I took blankets from my closet out and forced them to wrap the leather pieces in blankets before they scratched them on my brick entryway again. When the tech arrived to fix my table and TV stand, I asked brother to wait for them so I wouldn't have to miss work again. When I got home, they way that they "fixed" the TV stand was to color in the defective spot with a marker that was way darker than the color of the rest of the stain. It really looks like a permanent black marker on an espresso colored stand. Eventually I received another lamp shade in the mail, which was also slightly crushed, but I was able to un-bend the frame to make it look ok. The main concern of the company seems to be to take your money first, then try to backtrack to fix all the deficiencies and shoddy delivery practices. They feel like sending a tech out is good enough to fix the small stuff, and they completely ignore the inconvenience of customers having to take days off from work just to have to send the furniture back because its broken or defective, not to mention some of the poor folks who have already gotten rid of the old stuff in anticipation of the new arrivals, and are left with nothing!

So bottom line, we purchased a Queen bed set with a high end mattress. Sales person stated the mattress did not need a box spring as it had a Bunkie board.?! We also purchased a Bunk bed set from Kids to Go division. Queen Bed set was delivered but incorrectly put together. Mattress was too low with Bunkie Board. The bed was very cheaply made. There are no returns with RTG. Period. Your stuck with all purchases unless damaged. We purchased a second bunk bed set. Del. set for May 8th. Del. guys arrived and left without giving us the bed sets! They just left as one of the drivers was afraid of dogs and our dog was behind a elec. fencing system but delivery guy was still too scared and changed his mind and left. We called delivery dept. they informed us that the truck will return that same day. It never did. I called today, May 11th to find out that we could not have the bunk beds delivered now until May 19th after the date we originally needed them for arriving students. Rooms to Go serves no purpose in quality product nor true customer service and with no return policy is not a business worth justifying in this country.

Rooms to Go is all show. They put on a nice display. They fail in customer service once you buy your goods it's all done. After several calls a "service technician"came to our home to take pictures of their defective merchandise. It has been months since then. They never followed thru. Since then the coach has begun to peel. They avoid their responsibility in the hopes the customer will get fed up and give up seems to be their tactic. You get what you pay for. So if you want "disposable" furniture then this is your place! Rooms to Go...very appropriately titled.....

My husband and I purchased a bedroom set for our child, they billed me and deliverd the wrong piece, they suppose to replace it immediately. Now it has been 6 months and we still dont have the right piece. Customer service schedule the delivery for the wrong date. I took the day off and they didn't show up. Call them to inquiery and they told me to wait for 2 days to reschedule the delivery. i suppose to receive a credit but not until the right piece get deliver. So after 6 monts we don't have our right piece of furniture nor our credit for the mistake.

Rooms to Go - Terrible Experience

In March, I ordered a dining room table and chairs and one of the chairs was delivered broken. I am trying to have the replacement chair delivered to the Rooms to Go store near me so that I can pick it up at my convenience. When I first spoke to a customer service rep, she told me that wouldn’t be possible as all items need to be delivered, however I asked her to speak to her manager and get back to me because I have had some serious issues with the delivery service. these issues are below: 1) Delivery was supposed to occur between 9am-1pm but the driver never showed up, and then told the dispatch that they came and I was not home. I had taken the day off of work to wait for this delivery so I wasted an entire day. 2) A week later, the re-delivery was supposed to occur between 11am and 3pm. The drivers did not show up until 6:30pm and when they took the table out of the truck and started wheeling it toward my home, the glass insert fell out of the battered box and now has a scuff on it. Also, one of my chairs has such a badly damaged leg that it is unsafe to sit in and needs to be replaced. 3) I called and arranged a replacement chair to be delivered about a week and a half later, and on the delivery day, the driver/dispatch called me about 15 times over the course of an hour because the driver was unable to find my home. I was giving him directions over and over again and trying to figure out where they had ended up. Finally when they were in my neighborhood, they asked me to come outside when they said they were 5 minutes away and wait for them. I waited for 40 minutes and then got another call saying that they still couldn’t find my home. Again I asked where they were and after them describing it to me, I told them that I thought that they might be on a street with a similar name to mine which was around the corner. I gave directions again and the driver rudely told me that he knew this neighborhood and that he was in the right place. Clearly this was not the case because I was standing on the street. Finally I was so frustrated that when the dispatcher called me back yet again, I told her to cancel the delivery for the day since this was completely wasting my afternoon and that she should do whatever she needs to so that I can pick up this replacement chair at the store. She promised me up and down that she would call me the next day. That was 4 weeks ago and I have not heard from the company since. So I then called customer service and explained the below situation to the rep. She told me that having the replacement chair delivered to the store was an uncommon occurrence so I was going to have to work that out with the store manager and then with the delivery company. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I am now being told to do customer service’s job for them, drop off the broken chair at the store, wait for the new one to be delivered and then go back and pick up the new chair. I tried to call the store manager at the store nearest to me several times and I have not received a response. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with purchasing ANY ITEM and based on this, I would never buy from this company again and will be actively encouraging other to never buy from this company.
