Rooms To Go in Jacksonville, Florida - Poor quality, paid $1075 for a mattress that is no good. Room to go will not refund the money.

I bought a mattress at Rooms to go for $1075, less than a month the mattress started to sink in the middle, like a puddle of loose material. They did exchanged the mattress two times and still the exchange is not good. It is a shame, I spent $10,000 buying furniture that day and I am very displeased with the quality. Leather sofa is no good.....Never again will I shop at Rooms to go....Worst $10, 000 of my life.....I would advise all customers to stay away from that store. I have gotten the run around and I am really fed up.

A mattress that cost in excess of $1000 should generally last about 10 years if the people who sleep on it every night are normal sized.

we came back from vacation with no one living in the house we noted a crack in the wood above the drawers. there is nothing on top of that wood to cause pressure. rooms to go tells us that the dresser is past warranty so despite the run around and driving 45 minutes to the store as requested by customer service, rooms to go refused to fix dresser in any way shape or form.

We bought an expensive leather sofa (advertised as leather, turned out to be a blended leather material meaning there is a very small % of genuine leather). In a year this "leather" started to peel off and unlike the genuine leather the blended one cannot be repaired. Very disappointing. They also sold us the leather protection plan that turned out to be two tiny bottles with some liquid. In addition, in a store they put some extra mattress and it seemed a very comfortable sleeper sofa. Only when the sofa was delivered we realized some extra mattress needs to be purchased to make it comfortable! We will NEVER buy anything from ROOMS TO GO again. They suck!

We tried to contact the original manager but were never able. We returned tonight and spoke to another manager.

They told us the same thing - no returns especially due to "customer preference" of wrong color, feet not being able to touch floor etc.

We told them we placed a stop payment with credit card company and filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Texas Attorney Generals office. That made them mad and they told us to leave the store and not return - any further contact should be through the BBB or through an attorney.

Bought a love-seat and couch. Was supposed to be brown. When they delivered the items, they were a burgundy/reddish color. Also, items sat several inches taller than what was in the showroom and feet couldn't touch the ground. Went back to return the items and the salesperson said they don't take returns. We asked to speak to the manager and she told us to go back to their office and see them. I asked her to have the manager come to us, she refused at first. The manager finally came out and wanted us to send him pictures showing how out feet would not touch the ground and the color etc.

Same happened to me, got a defective twin mattress that was about 3in too small for a twin frame. Was told this gap is normal "to set the bedding in", refused to take a return and said to send pictures to them.

WTH?

I should have stopped the payment too. Will be contacting BBB and tell to everybody I know to avoid rtg as a plaque.

Rooms To Go in Houston, Texas - Dishonest and inept used-car sales people

the salesperson, "jacob", at the location on katy freeway (jan. 22/15) started by showing us around; as we explained to him what we were looking for, he showed us some selections and explained that with the leather or fabric furnitures we would get service treatment from the company; additionally, he said that once our credit was approved, we would only make payments... and no finance interest; in short, he did not initially disclose that we would pay taxes and delivery in advance (on the contrary, he kept emphasizing how different they operate from other furniture co's!); after he ran our credit..., he told us that we would have to pay for the furniture treatment!! he should have disclose everything from beginning!! at the end, he told us "thank you for waisting my time!"
