Bedroom Set Review

They have a lost a customer by me @ whoever else reads this i hope ..we purchased the Gardenia bedset@ within a month , the wood slats were already breaking..1 year later the foot had a spilt in it @ within 2 weeks the whole bed fell to the floor while my 14 yr old son wassleeping ...Out to the trash it went. Also the dresser us spilting down the middle.Do not purchase the Gardenia set ever!!

I purchased a sofa set from them on 11/30/14 and was supposed to get them on 12/8/14. I received a call from them three days prior to delivery date stating that they did not have them in stock and would have to deliver on 12/18/14. I called to find out what happened and the customer service was the worst ever. They gave me many reasons but could not give an exact reason for the delay. They showed me that they did not care about my business. I asked to speak to supervisors and managers and they were unprofessional, rude, and with nasty attitudes. They did not empathy or apologize. Rooms to go will sell a product to someone else to try to get their business but once they have you, you are screwed. THEY JUST DO NOT CARE. DO yourselves a favor, pay a little more somewhere else and save yourselves time and a headache. BUYER BE WARE!!! ROOMS TO GO find a way to *** over.

Worst customer service ever!!!

I purchased an entertainment center and twice the center console was delivered damaged. It is scheduled for a third delivery (in another 2 weeks). My call to customer service and to the Gallatin Rd. store in Nashville were both treated in a ho hum manner. I will personally never make another purchase at Rooms To Go. After they get your money, they don't care what happens. I offered to keep the damaged unit if they would refund $200. That would have saved everyone time and money. The most customer service would do is $100. I refused. We'll see what happens with the third delivery.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ROOM STORE. I was planning to buy living room and bedroom furniture but luckily I did not and only bought 2 night stands to start with and they came broken. I wanted to return them but they told me that I should not have accepted the delivery but their delivery driver left the furniture by lying that he has to leave furniture even if I wanted to return but that was not the he wanted to left furniture to make sure I keep it for 48 hours so after that these frauds could change %20 fee if I wanted to return it. Now I am stuck with *** furniture because their return policy doesn’t make any sense and does not count situations like when the furniture was delivered damaged to begin with.

AMAZING PEOPLE

We bought the Beachside set in natural for a beach home we have on the gulf. We rent it so did not put much $ thinking in a few yrs of constant abuse by vacationers we would replace anyway! We are getting ready to buy another set for another rental we purchased when I came across this site! This has to be a joke! I can't even understand half of the posts because of the terrible grammar!!!! Then some *** post from an *** whos spelling was so poor it had to be a kid~ but saying Cindy Crawford brought 32 people to her house to laugh at her? What a joke this was. Night and Day experiences. If they were this bad they wouldn't be selling it! I don't think Crawford would have her reputation ruined by this either! Only issue is ( rightfully so) white slips get dirty. I am an interior designer and I just popped the slips in the washer with Pink Rit Dye and they came out SUPER!!! I changed the color scheme to pink and Aqua of the beach house... and the set looks brand new with a few packages of hot pink Dye! Try that! ( in color of your choice!) BUT NOT IF U HAD THE STAIN TREATMENT! Sorry!

Missing sofa when order was delivered

December 20th, 2014 Got a call that delivery of our order will be from 7:00 am - 11:00 am. Truck arrived. They unwrapped and installed the love seat, only to inform us that the sofa was not on the truck. Drivers made some calls and we were told that Rooms to Go would try to deliver the sofa later today. We received a phone call informing us that the sofa would be delivered December 31st. I went to the Myrtle Beach store and talked to Bob Beading store manager. I requested that they come pick-up the love seat because I was going to Ashley Furniture to purchase the furniture I needed. Bob informed me that he will not take back the love seat because we signed for the delivery. Rooms To Go does not adhere to their own policy of "Our policy is your complete satisfaction. We are dedicated to providing the best in service and delivery". Rooms To Go must hire incompetent personnel that can't read. How can anyone not miss a sofa on a delivery order. In the future I will never purchase anything from this company.

It's a professional scam. Let's build the cheapest quality furniture, make them think they're getting a deal, when they leave who gives a ***.

I agree 100 percent, they are truly horrible. My saving grace was I purchased with a chase freedom card who stuck with me and forced them to take my purchase back.

It took two months but I succeeded. Thank you Chase and screw you Rooms to Go

There products are good, but their customer service is HORRIBLE!!! Buyer beware! We bought a power recliner that broke and we called for service. The service technician came to our house and told us he needed a part and he would come back to repair it. That was over 6 months ago and over 20 calls to their customer service department have resulted in absolutely nothing being done! We are still waiting for response, but today when I called they said that the Power Recliner is no longer under warranty and they couldn't help me. It was under warranty 6 months ago when the chair broke down, but because they waited this long there is no longer a warranty. DO NOT BUY from this company!

No, their products ARE NOT good. The sales reps tell you it is good, durable furniture, but it falls apart within a few years (if you get it to last that long) and the say all their obligations end after the one year warranty period. They are cheats.

I've had 3 set of living room set of furniture since July this year. From cracking leather 2x, broken day of delivery 4x to u name it! Went through customer service HORRIBLE! Plan NASTY! All I want is my money back and go somewhere else but im stock with bad quality furniture for high price and a bill I gotta pay that's not worth me even paying! I would never recommend anyone to these scam and heartless people! I hope they get what they deserve soon!

I placed an online order for over $1,000! My delivery date was set for a Friday and being that I work Mon-Fri and don't get off til 2:30 I figured I'd call and see if they have possibly set me up for an evening time. I called and to my dismay they set me up for morning hours between 8am-12p. So okay fine, I asked if they could set me up for an evening time and they told me no because they deliver according to zip codes! WHAT in the *** do you mean NO? And so what! I am a paying customer and you should be doing all you can to accommodate your customers. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and the rude girl(s) (I called back and got a different rep and she told me the same thing!!!!)told me "yes, but they're just going to tell you the same thing". Such a shame. I told that girl no matter if I am going to get the same response, you never tell a customer anything like that. So unprofessional! I am just beside myself because the only resolution they offered me was to reschedule. I don't think I will ordering from them ever again. Why can't companies be more like StateFarm. They really care about their customers. Consumers are keeping you business, remember that! Word of mouth goes a long way good or bad. I am completely dissatisfied with the lack of customer concern, service, and accommodations.

State Farm doesn't deliver a single item. Unless you count the monthly bill, lol. Don't you think the whole world would like delivery of large items after work hours? Big *** trucks driving around during rush hour traffic to deliver everything at the same time!

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that has been caused. Delivery time frames are planned once the delivery company has a full route.

They are routed according to zip code, and then the customer gets a call two days prior with the four hour time frame. Until this point even we at customer service have no idea what the time frame will be.

I regret to inform you that once time frames are given they cannot be changed; we can always request certain time frame, however on our end is only a request for the above reasons. Again we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused.

If you work for Rooms to Go, run not walk to find a new job! Your company will go out of business. Poor products and even worse service. They cheat their customer every day. I call HQ to talk to the CEO but he would not take my call. {surprise] They would not fix or replace a chair that was only 7 months old. They do not afford refund but they did me after I was adamant about their company work. They are rude to you on the phone and do not care about your problem. It starts at the top. Who is the CEO of R2G? Is this his or her hobby?

Poorly construction dresser.

we bought a bedroom set and a dinning room set from rooms to go. we did not notice until recently that the dresser draw is falling on top of the other ones. we have had the set 21/2 years but when we took the draw out saw that screws have split the wood in a area that support the upper draws, as time goes on the weight is making it worse. we called the store and they said your warrantee is up we can't help you. very poor service. since we have bought all our furniture from there. we offer to pay to have a tech come out and they still would not help.

We purchased a dining room set over 1000 dollars. When we got our chairs they were covered with black stuff. The chairs were white. We sent them back. The customer service said we couldnt recieve our chairs until November. This was in July. The manager contacted us about trying to cancel our ordet. Needless to say we recieved our chairs the next week. So we decided to use them again for our sofa purchase. We ordered a month ago and were told we would get it yesterday. This is because we needed it for more seating room for thanksgiving. The truck broke down and we didnt get our furniture. They called to reschedule. They did so for Thursday. I get a voicemail an hour later saying we appologize but will not be there until Friday afternoon. Are not running on thanksgiving. We rearranged our schedules so the furniture could come on Wednesday. Called back to reschedule to then and they would not. The corporate manager as well as the sales have awful attitudes. The only person who was considerate was the in store manager who could do nothing about the situation. Also the dispatch manager was supposed to return my call yesterday. Never called but put in noted he did 4 times. Now waiting again. This is ridiculous. Not to mention yesterday they called my husband telling us we would get it last night. Never showed and called to tell me we wouldnt. This is a big mess. Hopefully will get it friday but will never do business with this company again. Customer service, dispatch and delivery, and corporate managers are messing up the in store workers paychecks.

Broken bed, and won't honor the credit

I Placed an order in 2009. I had so many problems with the order it was crazy. I spent over $4500 on a bed, dresser, and 2 night stands. The bed was delivered broken. I called customer service and they refused to let me refuse delivery, said i had to keep the broken bed until the new pieces came in. The bed was dropped off and left in a room on the floor broken. After 2 months of calling, i finally put the broken bed together as i got tired of spelling on the floor. The same day I place another order for a dinning room table. It also arrived broken, and was finally picked up, after i went into the store for 3 months telling them to come get it and refund my money! I called about the bed doing broken once a month, they claimed appointments where scheduled and no one came, after a year of calling they said, oh its not under warranty anymore! Are you kidding me, it was delivered broken! Its 2014 and the bed is still broken! I went into this horrible store today, because my daughter is desperate for a computer chair, and round chair that are in there. They find my credit on my order, and won't give me my free shipping because Im not buying a console, and in the notes its written i have to buy a console! How can they tell me what i have to buy with my money and my credit! I had a 20% of coupon for the bars i was buying 5 of them, and the chair. And I left the store really upset that they will not honor my free shipping. I bought nothing.
