Not even a month, and the sofa is sinking; no response from Rooms To Go

We bought a sofa for $700. The delivery men didn't assemble it right -- a leg is positioned incorrectly -- and they hit my girlfriend's car with their truck while dropping it off. I could ignore the leg as it's not easily seen from where the sofa is placed, and the guys gave her some money for what was basically a bumper tap. What I can't excuse is that the sofa is already sagging just two to three weeks after owning it. We're constantly having to throw pillows under the cushions to fill in the hole and keep the sofa level, and I'll be getting a wood board soon to reinforce it. I understand it's a relatively cheap sofa, but I'm stunned by how quickly it's falling apart. We're not fat or anything, either. It's just cheaply made. I'm guessing Rooms To Go budgets furniture design more with aesthetics in mind than durability and longevity, as the mushy springs in this piece would seem to indicate. Rooms To Go has not respond to a single complaint in half a year, so I guess we're stuck with it as is. Abysmal customer service and shoddy craftsmanship will keep me from ever buying anything at Rooms To Go again.

I am sorry this happened to you. For $700, I would expect a sofa to last at least a few years, not weeks.

Good luck having it resolved with rtg. We purchased a defective mattress (wrong dimensions) and rtg keeps giving us run arounds. Total crooks.

I wish I have read these reviews. Never ever again will I deal with these people and warn everyone else about their dishonest business.

Items broken and or missing at time of delivery!!!!! Wanting me to take time off from work for their 4hr window for repairs NOT Happening!!!! I was on vacation the week of delivery and they could come back out during my time off so now rooms 2 go you must work on my time frame it's as simple as that!!!!!!

Rooms To Go in Richmond, Virginia - Scratched and dinged up furniture

I bought a bedroom set and the day of delivery, the guys were late,digged up dresser and customer service very unfriendly, never called back after three attemps of bringing me a dresser,the other two were broken.why would you bring broken furniture to a customer to see? the nightstands got scratched up and it was in the timed frame,tried calling for replacement but there again customer service never cared to do a thing about it,so now they are saying I have no warranty and I am stuck with them like that,they think using a marker is fixing them. But I made serveral calls that I never got anywhere during the replacement time, so now I am out luck.All I asked is replace the night stands, credit the dresser and I'll be okay with that. So watch what you buy at rooms to go,they don't uphold their warranty.

Leather sofa from Rooms to Go peeled in 2 years

I purchased an expensive leather sofa from Rooms to Go, I hardly sat on it and it just started to peel all over. Their warranty is for 1 year and it is ridiculous to spend so much money on a sofa that only lasted 2 years. I dont know why they would put out furniture that would last only past a year. Now I have a couch that is peeling everywhere and cant even have company over because of it. The people that work at the Cedar Park Tx location doesnt care at all, only when they are trying to make a sale.

Rooms To Go in Austin, Texas - Leather blend couch peeling after 2.5 years

Do not purchase a blended leather couch from Rooms to go! The polyurethane blend is what was used on my couch and it is peeling so bad after only two years! I will say though, rooms to go representative victor vega worked with me and gave me a $988 credit for another couch. I did purchase the extended coverage, so that gave me sufficient protection. I definitely will not be purchasing a leather couch! I am also not happy that the creditor is now through synchrony bank and they have "rejected" my current rooms to go credit. I made all my payments on time and own my couch, not sure why they decided to "reward" such an ideal customer this way?!

Rooms To Go - Bed Review

On 7-23-14 I walk into a nightmare, I purchase a sofa and bed, or better said half a bed, cause it's 8-9-14 and my matters is still on the ground! If that's not bad enough, the day they where suppose to deliver the sofa and bed, the delivery crew insulted me in my own home, not realizing I can speak spanish, was unable to assemble the bed, they brought the wrong rails and have made 4 delivery attempts and still haven't got it right. Every time they come to make a delivery they give a time frame of 4 hours, if you do the math they have taken 16 hours out of my life and have me sleeping on the floor! Worst experience of my life!
