Rooms To Go - Double Charge Review

THEFT - ROOMS TO GO HAS STOLEN MY MONEY I wish I had researched first. See story below: So here it is the end of the day and I have yet to receive a refund of the double charge BUT they have no even emailed me a confirmation or receipt of my purchase at all as they promised. There was no way for me to obtain any confirmation or receipt during my online purchase because it basically did not exist because their website was "having issues". I have requested a receipt for the last 3 hours, and they have yet to produce one for me. They have my money but will not produce me a receipt or written confirmation. MY WARNING Do not buy through the website. I was charged twice for my purchase AND now I'm having to jump through hoops to get my money back. The reps on the line keep mentioning "the office" and when I ask them where this office is, who is the office or how can I get to talk to someone in "the office" I get the run around. And because my order was not processed (but it sure as *** charged my account twice) there is no order # to associate my order with so they can't seem to help me. After demanding they connect me to this office, I finally got put through to "the office"only to have to leave a voice mail. This whole experience has been the worse experience I have ever had purchasing something Online in my entire life. DO NOT order online, and if you feel brave and do order online but get an error message that says "There was an error. You have not been charged. Try again" don't do it. You'll have a hard time getting your money back. UPDATE: So, I was finally told a reversal on my double charge was processed, I called my bank and they had not received it. I contacted R2G again, and they said the manager was gone for the weekend. How convenient. THEN from the website I was told that the normal delivery date would give me a 4 hour window, suddenly, the date became an express delivery date and I now had a 14 hour window. I have been dealing with this since 9AM this morning. I asked for a return on my delivery charge for this whole ordeal and they basically laughed at me, said I'd have to wait 48 hours for them to put over $500 back into my account. I consider this stolen money until it's returned. I will never, ever buy from this horrible place again. EVER.

Rooms To Go - Poor Quality Furniture Review from Lake Worth, Florida

Hi-We purchased our couch, loveseat and chair from Rooms to Go approximately 1 1/2 years ago and I would like to warn people not to get ripped off as I did. The legs/posts on the bottom of the couches have sunken into the couches, and we discovered that they're cheaply made because there is no support on the interior. They simply shoved the legs/posts into a small piece of crumbled particle board! We are average sized people and this should not be happening! This is definitely a case of fraud. It's not like you can walk into a showroom and flip the couches over to look underneath. There is no support on the interior of these couches that I paid $1,300.00 for!

Finally spoke with the store manager and he made sure we received a replacement dresser and refunded our shipping costs. Very satisfied with results.

Bought a bedroom set for my child. When i opened the dresser box, dresser was smashed to pieces. It had obviously been dropped hard! Rooms to Go has given us the Royal run arround to return and replace. They are extremely incompetent and have lost our replacement for over 4 weeks. They even brought the replacement dresser to my front door at 11 pm to deliver, but due to incompetent drivers and *** poor communication with their store manager, they refused to leave the dresser and it got shipped back to Florida. They'll deliver all night, except there's no one arround to correct their screw-up at 11 pm. So they do as they please with no accountability. They have my money and I don't have a dresser. Buyer Beware!! Do not do business with this company, the Midland, Texas location in particular!

i called rooms to go , , number of other issues besides color, they sent out a tech came out , He took photos , didnt list other issues & said they would get back to me in 3-5 days, when they did get back to me they said the chairs were soiled ( insulting ) & said if i got them cleaned professionally, they would look at them again. terrible , terrible ,i dont see how they expect to acheive good will & referrals.there customer service hot line needs a lot of improvement , they are very abrupt , almost insulting .i had a third impartial party look at them & they agreed the fabric was worn also

I PURCHASED A DENIM SOFA AND WENT FOR THE FORCE FIELD. UPON DELIVERY I TESTED THE FABRIC WITH WATER, NO BEADING CALL THE STORE IMEDIATLY SPOKE WITH THE MGR. AND HE TRIED TO GIVE ME THE SONG AND DANCE ABOUT IT IS STILL UNDER WARRENTY. I SAID I DO NOT PAY FOR THINGS THAT I DON'T RECEIVE. HE GAVE ME THE STORY ABOUT THE TECH. COMING OUT AND APPLYING IT, I SAID NO YOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY AND BLEW IT. HE SAID THIS IS JUST AN OVERSIGHT, I SAID NO IT'S NOT GOOGLE RTG COMPLAINTS, IT'S A SCAM. NOT ONLY THAT THE DELIVERY GUYS HAD BODY ODOR SO BAD THE PAINT STARTED TO BUBBLE ON THE WALL SO I SPRAYED HIM WITH FABREZE. I RECEIVED A REFUND OF 69.99+ 4.90 tax TOTAL 74.89. YOU MUST STAND FIRM AND IF THERE ARE OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE WARN THEM ABOUT FORCE FIELD AND TELL THEM TO GOOGLE RTG COMPLAINTS BEFORE THEY BUR AND SEE IF HELPS YOUR CAUSE. I will never buy anything from Rooms To Go again. The customer service is the worse.

Nothing but problems with the furniture. Once they get your money they never return phone calls.

Just terrible to do business with.
