Rooms To Go in Greensboro, North Carolina - Poor customer services

Moving to a new house and buying all new furniture, complete bed room, living room, and dining room sets. We made purchase 6 weeks in advance. We had a call this morning with our 4 hour window for Saturday February 15. A few hours later we get a call to call them back that due to the weather we have to reschedule, which I understand but it will be another week before they will deliver it so we go a week with no furniture at all, talk too two customer service reps and a supervisor, none were very nice never said they were sorry for the inconvenience, the supervisor even said I have it worse than you because I have reschedule everyone. I was warned about buying from rooms to go but did anyway, never buy from them with bad customer service

That is very disappointing to hear! I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and wish we could have delivered as scheduled.

Could you please email me the order information to Tellus@Roomstogo.com "Attention Pissed Consumer"?

I would like to see if we have any other options to get your furniture out sooner. Thanks April

Rooms To Go Repair
We recently bought a DR table, living room set and pub table and chairs on credit. We always pay our bills on time and usually more than the monthly requirement. Our daughter in law who was pregnant with identical twins lost them unexpectedly one evening and we rushed...

April, I'm thoroughly unimpressed by your response: "we look forward to better serving your needs in the future." Why don't you start right now?

Rather than shifting the blame why don't you offer to go to bat for this customer of yours?

You're in customer service and this is the best you can do? You send them back to deal with the very creeps that reported them for being 6 days late on a payment?

Just how much pull do you think they have with your credit company that you contract with? It should be obvious they have no pull at all.

Aren't you paying attention. They said they tried and got nowhere.

Your company, however, has a great deal of pull. You could fix this for them if you wanted to.

Instead you're just passing the buck.

Your lame "We don't give a rip about you but we look forward to taking more of your money again in the future" is a surefire way to lose potential clients.

Rooms To Go Customer Care
In early 2012, I purchased several thousand dollars worth of living room furniture from Rooms To Go in Austin, TX. Ten months later, we sold our home and moved to Houston. Shortly before we moved, one of the couches started having issues with the motor. I decided at...

I wish I would have read your comment before I shopped @ RTG. The sales associate I dealt with order the wrong items and when I spoke with the manager she acknowledge the mistake but the mistake could only be fixed at a extra cost to me.

Rooms To Go in Houston, Texas - $5000 living room furniture and only last 16months

I purchased a sectional from Rooms to go about 16 months ago and my sofa already started to tear, also my chair and a half is falling apart from underneath. I called Rooms to Go and they said there was nothing they could do for me since I didn't purchase extended warranty, but when I had specifically asked for it when I first purchased my furniture, but apparently didn't receive it. I don't think my furniture should only last for 16 months. I have spent approximately $15000 at Rooms to Go and still have to purchase more furniture, but I know where I'm not going. I'll go somewhere where they stand by their product.

Hello! I am very sorry that we were unable to help you with the repair on your sofa and chair.

We do have a 1 year manufacturer warranty for any defect that could arise in the first year. However, we do expect our furniture to last longer than this though.

Could you please send me the phone or order number for the account to Tellus@Roomstogo.com "Attention Consumer Affairs" so that I can look over the account to see if we have any other options? Thank you, April

I would not say that RTG has the lowest prices. And I do not consider the $3000 couch very cheap for average customer. Now you can find cheaper and much better quality furniture elsewhere, so the low price does not mean poor quality. But still, that what is going on...

Was charged the following for ForceField Fabric Proctection: 69.99 on couch, 49.99 on chair, 19.99 on ottoman. When furniture arrived there was no paperwork, stickers, etc and the delivery men did not know whether the fabric protection had been done or not. Decided to...

Rooms to Go tried to force the fabric protection on me, to the point they didn't even want to sell the furniture if I didn't agree.

I got the feeling it was their commission, that's how desperate they were.

Anyways, I didn't get it and they agreed to the purchase.

I buy a can of 3M Scotch guard in a spray can for $9- $10 at Walmart. It's enough to spray a a both piece and it works great.

Just give it a light coat, don't soak it.

- I doubt they'll get my business again, they are just horrible.

Warning: do not buy from Rooms to Go. The furniture quality is terrible. As an engineer, I understand product design, and the design and construction is downright pathetic. A sofa whose frame is not strong enough to hold the weight of a 180 lb. man has a design...
