Rooms To Go in Los Angeles, California - Bed promised for delivery in 2 weeks but later would be over 2 months

We bought a bedroom set and the bed headboard, footboard and rails were not in stock, but would be in two weeks we were told, so we agreed and laid out $1500 cash as a down payment. Two days before delivery I called to ask about the headboard only to be told that it wouldn't be available for at least 3 months. I cancelled the order, unwilling to wait after spending $3000 for a bedroom set and would have had the box springs and mattress sitting on the floor for all that time. We asked about the refund and were told that a check would be sent, taking approx. 5 days before it was sent. We told them we would pick up the check at corporate in Seffner, Fl. They refused indicating it wasn't their policy. So we are without furniture and without our down payment to shop elsewhere. Sleeping on the floor is no fun while they refuse to honor their slogan that "their policy is customer service". Ha, what a joke. That will be the last time I shop at RTG.

We are very sorry that we were unable to get your bed to you in a timely manner. Our promise dates are based on our having the product as scheduled in our Distribution Centers.

Unfortunately many factors, such as manufacturing and custom delays sometimes cause our partners to miss the promised arrival date.

We bought a living room set , chair was delivered broken , now i need to return the whole set but they are giving us a hard time because the chair that was delivered broken is discontinued , no follow up call iam trying to chase them on the phone, no luck yet, nightmare, rude people on the phone .worst experience ever.

Rooms To Go in Mobile, Alabama - RTG don't stand behind their *** stuff

I purchased a sleeper and regular sofa from RTG for our condo. The furniture was delivered on a monday. By friday I had to call repair to come look at a problem. First available repair appointment was two weeks... OK. The arm on the couch was broken. It was probably mistreated in the elevator/stairs by the delivery guys. They probably knew it was damaged but left it anyway. No way this couch was good quality. We rent this to some old people (70+ years old) and RTG would not fix or replace it because it is considered "commercial use". They said I voided any warranty because we rent the condo out. I will never purchase anything from RTG again due to poor customer service. We did not move the furniture. These tenants are long term renters, not commercial use. BAD BUSINESS!!

Rooms To Go in Orlando, Florida - $2,300 "Leather Sofa" peeling and crumbling after 5 years.

We spent $2,300 on a loveseat and couch and they are both peeling after 5 years, what makes it worse is there is only 2 of us and we rarely sit on them. I applied the leather conditioner 3x's a year and yet still have this problem. They swore that the leather was real but yet everyone of my friends and family that have had leather in their homes have had it for decades, R2G is a joke BUYER BEWARE. R2G is a joke BUYER BEWARE. I had the same problem, after less than 5 years and not even Jerome's extended warranty that was still in effect would cover it. They offered me $500 store credit...to buy thousands of dollars more of their junk that will fall apart. No thank you!

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your furniture. By the price you paid and the issue you are experiencing, I am not sure you selected top grain or 100% leather. You may have purchased a blended or bonded leather instead. While the Rooms To Go manufacturer's warranty is for 1 year from delivery, we may have options for you. Such as, a prorated store credit towards a new selection of your choice in exchange for returning the product to us. Rooms To Go in Destin, Florida - WARNING! Pawn shop mentality

I bought an entire living room set and an additional accent chair for our apartment. When it was delivered 2 weeks later it was clear that the accent chair would not physically fit into the room. I notified my sales rep ASAP and he assured me that i could return it without any problems. Now comes the Pawn shop...I gave them money for the chair and I expected money for the return. Oh no, they will only give me a store credit for the return. When I explained that I do not need any more furniture they gave me the pawn shop routine..."No returns if not returned within 48 hours of the order." Get it...48 hours from the order not 48 hours after delivery which took 2 weeks from the order time. In other words, it is impossible to get a refund just like the Pawn shop. Never again! I don't know how they stay in business!

Rooms to go won't allow me to exchange/refuse to let me speak with a manager.

I bought an accessories on the Rooms To Go located on LBJ and 6:35 at the dallas, TX location on 10/28/13 on a regular price. I called the store 3 or 4 days after my purchase to return/exchange it since it didn't go well with my furnitures. I called the store and they told me i can't return or exhange it becuase it was a final sale. I bought the accessories on a regular price, it wasn't marked on sale. The sales women didn't disclose this information with me. She never told me that it was a floor sample and i can't exchange or return it. If that was the case, i wouldn't have spend $250 or more on the accessores. I find it misleading and by not telling me it was a floor sample. Since i bought them on a regular price, i assumed i could retun it if i didn't go will with my furniture. I am very dissatisfied the level of customer service i received from both the store and customer service. They were very not customer oriented.
