Rooms To Go in Houston, Texas - Horrible livingrooms

I purchase a living room set about 4 to 5 years ago. on the second year the large sofa started to peel off. The same happened to my nice. No wonder they were offering a warranty. I never had such an offer before and my sets lasted for over 10 years. With rooms to go not even 2 years. Now I have to put up with the living room set because I am just a teacher and I can't afford to buy a living room set every 2 years. We apologize for the disappointment you are experiencing with your living room set. While we do carry a 1 year warranty against manufacture defect, we do expect the furniture to last more than 2-4 years.

I purchased a loveseat on a Friday afternoon. It was delivered on Monday. Supposedly it was treated with the stain guard "ForceField". Paid $60 for the guard and it WAS NOT done. When tested the liquid soaked right in faster than a sponge. From what is advertised, the liquid should have beaded up. When delivered I received no paper work stating that it was done and no sticker on the loveseat. I also purchased a framed print that was hanging high up on the wall. I was not told it was a floor model and it was quickly wrapped and handed to me. I was never shown the artwork before it was wrapped. Upon opening it at home I realized the frame is damaged. I should have been shown it and told it was a floor model. Seems a discount would have been in order. I am thoroughly disgusted with this place and will never shop there again. I would like to return the love seat but have had it 6 days so too late and no one has even sat on it. I had no idea I would have to return it until it was in my home.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Sometimes the stickers might come off in transit since the piece might have been damp from the protectant but when purchased we will cover any food or beverage stain that might happen in the next 3 years.

We can also send a technician out to the home to respray if you would like?

In the showroom the Force Field is demonstrated on cardboard and will have a different reaction to fabric when water or etc is applied to it and will not always bead up. The brochure shows fluid beading up. I don't want it re-sprayed, I want it out of here. Makes me angry every time I look at it.

Rooms to go has done nothing to correct my problems. I am out $700 and stuck with JUNK.

Very expensive way to learn a lesson. I wish people would know before going into that store.

Rooms To Go in Charlotte, North Carolina - Changed their mind after I paid for the merchandise

So I went into a Rooms To Go which I never do. Bought a sleeper sofa off the floor since it was discontinued. Made delivery arrangements. They called back that night and they said they couldn't sell me the sleeper. What? I already paid for it!! This company is so cheap they wanted to keep the sleeper on the floor to show people the color. So they are showing something they can't sell but you can get the sleeper in a sofa in that color. They are falsely advertising their merchandise. Never again. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. You should be ashamed Jerry Seaman. Now I know why CEO's get a bad rap. WORST COMPANY EVER!

2 weeks ago with intro offer w/ tv got furniture delivered 7 days ago Tv table missing selfs had to send it back wait another 5 days for that supposed to wait 5 days after del for tv now 7 days still waiting on that 2 weeks after buying furniture stil waiting to complete the deal last time rtg. The contract says 5 days the first time i heard of bussiness day when i whent to pick up tv best buy told me i had i had to 5 bussiness days dont they know the difference.i am pissed they should get it together...

I apologize you haven't received your TV yet and were missing the shelves for your TV table. Our Tv promotion policy does require us to wait 5 business days after the furniture has been delivered.

We do this to ensure the customer takes possession of the furniture and fulfills the contract before we release the TV credit.

Rooms To Go in Los Angeles, California - Bed promised for delivery in 2 weeks but later would be over 2 months

We bought a bedroom set and the bed headboard, footboard and rails were not in stock, but would be in two weeks we were told, so we agreed and laid out $1500 cash as a down payment. Two days before delivery I called to ask about the headboard only to be told that it wouldn't be available for at least 3 months. I cancelled the order, unwilling to wait after spending $3000 for a bedroom set and would have had the box springs and mattress sitting on the floor for all that time. We asked about the refund and were told that a check would be sent, taking approx. 5 days before it was sent. We told them we would pick up the check at corporate in Seffner, Fl. They refused indicating it wasn't their policy. So we are without furniture and without our down payment to shop elsewhere. Sleeping on the floor is no fun while they refuse to honor their slogan that "their policy is customer service". Ha, what a joke. That will be the last time I shop at RTG.

We are very sorry that we were unable to get your bed to you in a timely manner. Our promise dates are based on our having the product as scheduled in our Distribution Centers.

Unfortunately many factors, such as manufacturing and custom delays sometimes cause our partners to miss the promised arrival date.
