Rooms To Go - Awful, haphazard, careless service
They contacted us the evening before our scheduled delivery, to tell us they moved our 2-6pm delivery window to 8am-12pm. I refused it. My wife and I are in outside sales. We had made our appointments accordingly. Without apology, they told me I'd have to schedule a new date.
So that my son could have his bed, my wife moved her morning appointments to the afternoon.
Noon comes around. No delivery. I call them. They tell me they've changed my delivery window to 12-4.
4:09pm: The delivery guys call me to let me know it won't be much longer. I tell them to keep it.
I called customer service for a refund. They told me it'd take a week. I wait a week, no refund. They tell me that they refunded it, but AMEX can take 7 to 10 business days to apply the refund.
I wait another week. Nothing. I call AMEX. AMEX says they never issued a refund.
Thank GOD for AMEX, as they immediately refunded my account and picked up the fight with Rooms To Go for me.
NEVER will I step in their store again. EVER!
