I spent close to $2000 on a bunk system with stairs and a matching dresser. Very poor quality...paint chipped day one due to a bubble in the paint, it has unfinished holes where bed is screwed together, and overall flimsy construction.
They don’t make the frame strong enough to keep a mattress from sagging in the long term, so you have to by an additional board that makes the mattress sit too high on the top bunk. We have to use a guard to keep our child from rolling off the top, which is certainly unattractive. I have the thinnest mattress available. They sent out someone today to paint over the spot that was chipped instead of replacing it.
It is an outer railing that could easily be replaced with a new panel. A brand new piece of furniture shouldn’t have any paint to be repaired.
It should be in perfect condition when it is delivered. If there is damage, it should be replaced, not repaired.
