While shopping for furniture for our new house, the sales girl would not leave us alone (even when we were discussing if we could afford certain pieces ect.-personal converstaitons).

We decided to buy a smaller entertainment center and while she was ringing us up she went through all of their TERRIBLE store policies. Just to name a few, customers must either pay $40 to have a piece of furniture delivered from their warehouse to the actual store or you can pay $65 for them to deliver it to your house. At first we thought that the extra $25 would be worth it for them to deliver and assemble the piece. But then she says that the delivery guy will call you a few days in advance to give you a 4 hour time frame of when the piece will be delievered, but they are not bound to that time frame.

(So basically you have to be at your house, on a business day, from 6 am-10 pm just waititing for the delivery). They said the delivery guy would NOT call you on the day of to let you know the status. We decided that wasn't worth the hassle so we would pay the $40 to pick it up from the store. The sales girl then told us to bring extra packaging because the furniture would probably not be packaged to our liking, and that they would basically set it on the curb and we would have to load it in to our truck ourselves.

So rude.

After a week when we finally got our furniture, while unloading it into our house we noticed the corner of it was DAMAGED.After all that, we will never be shopping at Rooms to go ever again.

Monetary Loss: $450.
