I recently purchased a table from Rooms to Go (3589 GREENLAWN BLVD, Round Rock, TX 78664) order number XXXXXX on May 30, 2017. They told me that the table is stored in their Houston warehouse and that I will need to pay $50 to get it shipped, which I paid.

They told me that the table will be delivered on June 15th, 2017. I was expecting guests on June 16th for dinner so I agreed to the June 15th delivery date. On June 15th, they delivered the table but it was missing hardware so the delivery guys left without assembling it. They did not bother to report this matter to customer service.

After waiting for a couple of hours I called customer service at around 11:00 AM. The lady told me that they don't know when the part will be shipped but will place an order to the parts department. I expected a call back with updates which I did not get, so I called at 4:00 PM again to check on the status and a different lady (supervisor) told me that the order had not been placed and that she will do it then (at 4:00 PM) but the parts departments people must be already gone so my order will be processed the next day (June 16th). I did not receive any updates until noon so I called back only to find out that the shipping department had not shipped it and the line I got from the customer service rep is, and I am paraphrasing, 'We are working on it, I don't know when it will be ready' This guy was extremely arrogant and did not care for the delay and inconvenience caused to me.

He said they will contact me when they have an update. I waited over the weekend and called back on Monday, June 19th (still no updates from your customer service), they said they hadn't shipped it yet. Later this afternoon, they call me and tell me that the parts will not arrive until September, so the only 2 options are that they can give me a re-selection (which means I can pick a different table from the store) or wait until September. Why should I pick a different table when I have already bought what I liked in the first place.

Why would I go back to Rooms to Go again when I got such bad service in the first place. The other option is to wait until September, why should I do that when Rooms to Go told me that the table will be delivered in 3 weeks. This is absolutely the worst possible customer service I have received for any purchase, ever!! I am extremely unhappy with the customer service (extremely arrogant representatives) and after sales service.

I have wasted a lot of time trying to coordinate this and have been embarrassed because I did not have a dining table for my guests. I will not be buying anything from Rooms to Go ever and will seriously discourage anyone who expresses interest in visiting the store.
